THE VENTURE BUILDER

What is WOMEN IN WEB3 venture builder?

WOMEN IN WEB is a community-owned venture builder for women turning their passions into ventures and innovating in web3. Participants will be a part of a cohort and supportive network, learning, building, and venturing alongside others at the same early stage: ideation. Each individual will progress through three levels and receive a proof of completion.

Where does the program take place?

Participants will join virtual sessions and optional office hours. The times will be more friendly for participants located in Africa, Europe, North and South America. All tools, such as access to Discord, will be shared during onboarding.

What language will the content be in?

English

What does the program cost?

The program will be offered at no cost at this time. In exchange, participants are strongly encouraged to be active participants, share the experience, and give constructive feedback.

Does the program take equity?

No equity will be taken at this time. The future intent is for all membership token holders to share equity in each of the co-created ventures.

Does the program include funding?

No funding will be provided at this time. However, investors will be invited to attend Pitch Day.

What are the benefits of the program?

The program benefits include: • Learn, build, and venture with other women in web3. • Hear talks from entrepreneurs and web3 leaders. • Gain knowledge and experience and receive credentials. • Network in the venture and web3 ecosystems. • Opportunities to form a team and/or find a co-founder.

Does the program issue credentials?

Yes. Each individual will progress through three levels and receive a proof of completion.

THE APPLICATION

Who should apply for the cohort?

The next cohort will be about the creator economy. It’s for aspiring entrepreneurs, who are women and who want to turn their passions into ventures. It’s best to approach the program as an individual with a blank slate; no idea (can have an inkling of an idea) but ready to build and innovate in web3. Prerequisite: Have a crypto wallet and knowledge of web3 basics (about 6+ months in web3). Be a part of a few web3 communities—may already be contributing to one—and know how to navigate Discord. The people are the heart of WOMEN IN WEB3. Women of all ages, races, nationalities, political affiliations, and religions are welcome. Please review the community principles and values.

Can I apply with an idea?

Individuals can apply if they already have an idea as long as they haven’t started building. Please remain open-minded throughout the ideation workshop(s).

Can I apply with a team?

Applicants are accepted as individuals. However, if there is someone you’d like to join the program, please refer in the application.

What is the application and review process?

Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. An interview will be scheduled with select applicants. Applications open: TBD Applications close: TBD

When will applicants be notified?

Applicants will be notified within two weeks if they are accepted or not accepted into the program.
